This website belongs to Bullfrog Foundation Waterproofing and Mold Remediation, a Florida contractor. This page covers what happens on the website. It does not cover phone calls or what you tell our crew at your home.
What you give us
The estimate and free inspection form. When you fill in the form on our contact page, we receive your name, phone number, email address, the service you picked, whether you own or rent the property, and anything you write in the message box. The form is delivered to our office inbox by Brevo, an email service. We use it to call you back, answer your question and arrange a visit. Your email address is set as the reply address, so we can answer you directly.
Storm alerts. If you sign up for Florida Storm Watch alerts, we keep your email address and the area you chose in a mailing list held by Brevo. We use it to email you when the National Weather Service issues a watch or warning for that area, plus one confirmation email when you sign up. Every alert has an unsubscribe link, and one click takes you off the list.
We do not sell your information, and we do not add form contacts to the storm alert list.
What the site measures on its own
Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read, how they arrived (for example, from a Google search) and whether they clicked our phone number or email address. Google collects this with cookies and a small script, along with details such as your browser, device type and rough location worked out from your IP address. We see totals and trends, not a list of named visitors. Google's own explanation is at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use our pages. Clarity records sessions: mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and which parts of a page get attention, which we can replay to find pages that confuse people or buttons that do not work. By default Microsoft masks text typed into form fields, so your form entries are not meant to appear in a recording. Clarity uses cookies, and Microsoft processes this data under its privacy statement.
Cookies
The site itself does not need cookies to work. The cookies it sets come from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, for the purposes above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work normally. Google also offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site.
Other services our pages load
Some pages pull in content from other companies, which means your browser connects to them and they receive your IP address: the Google Maps service area map, Google Fonts for icons, and, on the storm watch pages, OpenStreetMap map tiles, RainViewer radar images and National Weather Service alert data. We do not send them anything you type.
Who else sees your information
- Our own staff, to answer your inquiry and do the work.
- Brevo, which delivers form messages and holds the storm alert list.
- Google and Microsoft, for the analytics described above.
- Vercel, which hosts this website and keeps standard server logs.
- Trusted contractors we work with, where a job or part of a job is outside what we do. We pass on only what they need to contact you about that work.
- Anyone the law requires us to share it with.
How long we keep it
Form inquiries stay in our email for as long as we need them to deal with your request and keep normal business records. Storm alert details stay until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept under Google's and Microsoft's retention settings.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do that unless we have to keep a record, for example for a job we carried out. You can unsubscribe from storm alerts at any time from the link in any alert.
Florida and US visitors
We work in Florida, and this site is meant for people in Florida and elsewhere in the United States. Our service providers may store data on servers outside Florida. If we ever had a data breach affecting your personal information, we would notify you as Florida law (section 501.171 of the Florida Statutes) requires. The site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this page
If we add or remove a tool that collects information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
